Shruti Hassan has been bagged for the role of leading heroine in 'Welcome Back'. The movie is made by the makers of 'Welcome'.
Shruti Hassan will be playing a role opposite to John Abraham. Earlier Sonakshi Sinha was said to be the lead in the movie but was replaced by Asin but after watching the recent movies of Shruti D-Day and Ramaiya Vastavaiya.
The makers approached Shruti Hassan. Confirms director Anees Bazmee, `Yes, it is true. We were talking to a lot of actresses including Asin. Shruti fits the bill better. We are still looking for an ideal replacement for Firoz Khan's role.`
